The Ocean County HPAC has developed a Coordinated Assessment system to assist persons experiencing homelessness in Ocean County with accessing services primarily related to permanent housing. The Coordinated Assessment system seeks to ensure that those households with the highest needs and longest histories of homelessness are prioritized for permanent housing opportunities in the community as they arise.
Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) serves as the Coordinated Assessment provided for Ocean County and provides support to households experiencing homelessness to connect them to resources in the community. Individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Ocean County can reach out to AHA to begin the coordinated assessment process by contacting (732) 341-2272.
